HUNGRY PLANET: WHAT THE WORLD EATS



What's on family dinner tables in fifteen different homes around the globe? Photographs by Peter Menzel from the book "Hungry Planet"

While we can somewhat relate to familiar families who spend around $200 to $300 per week, with staples like pizza, ice cream, fatty snacks, and plenty of soda, we realize other families across the globe chow down on the real —like the Ayme family of Tingo, with a weekly budget of about $31 and a prized family recipe of potato soup with cabbage.
